"Out, out!"

Ms. Beth wrote...
Kaylie loves the outdoors so much! Today she gave me her hat and jacket before she'd even had her morning bottle of milk. I came in the door and made it about one foot inside when she ran to sit on my lap: we sat for a moment on the floor and then she popped up to hand me her outdoor gear: Ah, ah!" (out, out!).

My Friend Gabriel

It must be "CSA" (Community Supported Agriculture) day. That's when I get to go with Ms. Beth to pick up the garden vegetables for the week and we get to play with Morgane, Emma, and Gabriel.

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)

Today Ms. Beth took me over to Milan to spend the day with her. I ate a nice big breakfast at her house before meeting with her sister and my friends, Morgan, Emma and Gabriel. I have to eat before I see them or I get too distracted. We all went to the Milan CSA to pick up our vegetables of the week. We received a box of lettuce, potatoes and a bunch of green onions. Unfortunately, no fruit :-(

Hippa

Ms. Beth wrote...
Every day it seems Kaylie is learning new words or refining pronunciation of old ones. The word of the day? Hippa. :-)

Red-winged blackbirds and cattails

Ms. Beth wrote...
Today we saw a pond with red-winged blackbirds and cattails. Kaylie especially loved the fountain in the middle: "wow!" At the playground she pushed me on the merry-go-round. Amazing! She is growing up :-) :(

The Climber

Ms. Beth wrote...
We had a great time at the park today! Kaylie is an excellent climber. Bold, but not reckless. She spent most of her time today on the slides, but really she loves everything there. Today she played in the sandbox for the first time. Luckily there were no other kids there because she has s tendency to throw the sand pretty far. I guess I know what we'll be working on next!

Nap Time

Ms. Beth wrote...
Instead of sleeping at nap time, Kaylie practiced yoga in her crib. This was accompanied by yawning, and several rather peaceful attempts at escape. Every once in a while she'd flop down and throw in a bit of fake snoring (presumably to keep from falling asleep while she was there).
